A pair of Leaf-footed bugs in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The latis and common name are printed underneath the specimen.
Coreidae is a large family of predominantly sap-sucking insects in the Hemipteran suborder Heteroptera. The name "Coreidae" derives from the Ancient Greek κόρις meaning bedbug. The common names of Coreidae vary regionally. Leaf-footed bug, squash bugs, twig-wilters and tip-wilters.
They reach 5 - 5.5 centimetres.
