Description

A stunning Walrus Tusk Beetle in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.

Dorysthenes walkeri is one of largest species of the genus of longhorn beetles of the subfamily Prioninae. It has two long mandibles. Black and shining body, the species really attractive in the collection. They are a widely distributed species and live in lowland areas of Asia.

It can reach 80 to 100 millimetres.
