A stunning Shark Tooth Carcharodon Megalodon fossil presented on a hand fabricated stand, made in our UK metal workshop.

Megalodon (Carcharodon megalodon), meaning "big tooth," is an extinct species of shark.

Fossile Size: 4.5 inches.

Latin Name: Carcharodon megalodon

Fossil Age: 15 Million years old

Fossil Origin: USA

Period: Cretaceous

Stage: Albanian

Distribution: Lived approximately 23 to 2.6 million years ago, during the Early Miocene to the end of the Pliocen.

The moth is beautiful, perfectly preserved and absolutely stunning. It was packaged well and wasn't damaged whatsoever. It took longer for it to arrive, but that was due to Christmas and customs. It was a gift, and the only fault we found was that the moth had been mounted ever so slightly skewed, so it wasn't totally straight, but it doesn't distract from the beauty or elegance of the piece. The response time from the seller was also spectacular. All in all, I would definitely recommend this seller and would buy from them again without hesitation.
