This is my fifth dome from Minibeast and once again I was sent a beautiful one. Unfortunately, the moth was damaged in the first delivery, so Minibeast sent me a replacement immediately. Really great customer service!

Arrived super quick, looks great and in perfect condition as always. Mine is less shiny/colourful overall but that’s nature! One needs to expect some potential variation, and I’m very happy with my little guy! Love the bright green and the horns, it looks stunning from the side especially.

Simply stunning.

I've wanted a Hercules beetle for my collection for a while now as they're one of my absolute favourite insects, although it's quite expensive. I took the plunge, and seeing this specimen in the flesh after unboxing made it worth every penny. I just love the horns and the shiny carapace; I find myself ogling this beetle every chance I get. It's a big 'un!

I ordered the threesome but with the Monarch replaced with a Gilipus and they replaced the Chrisippus with a Gilippus. The threesome they sent was nicer than the advertised threesome. Still I lamented the loss of the Chrysippus, so they sent me one

Such a beautiful specimen, I know that someone else received an orange one but ours seems to be bright yellow with orange spots and looks amazing! So it looks like these one can vary in patterns, just something to bare in mind.

This specimen is exceptional. The sheer size makes it stand out and draws attention, and once it has it you notice the details and colours on the wings, which are subtle but beautiful.

What a difference

This is my second club piece, my first was stunning! The eye catching Mountain Blue Swallowtail. My second is the somewhat subtle Madagascar leaf butterfly. If I’m honest at first I was a tad disappointed when I saw how dull and bland the butterfly looked in comparison to the first. However now i find being disappointed only with my first reaction. The Madagascar leaf is a natural beauty with the most detailed camouflage and a really understated beauty.

This would have never been my choice picking my own but that is the excitement of the club and I’m thankful for such a different specimen. I know know how diverse my collection will be!

Thank you once again and I’m looking forward to the next!
