I ordered the threesome but with the Monarch replaced with a Gilipus and they replaced the Chrisippus with a Gilippus. The threesome they sent was nicer than the advertised threesome. Still I lamented the loss of the Chrysippus, so they sent me one

Such a beautiful specimen, I know that someone else received an orange one but ours seems to be bright yellow with orange spots and looks amazing! So it looks like these one can vary in patterns, just something to bare in mind.

This specimen is exceptional. The sheer size makes it stand out and draws attention, and once it has it you notice the details and colours on the wings, which are subtle but beautiful.
Since my first purchase I've wanted this specimen, so was thrilled when it was on offer, another perfect specimen!

This butterfly is absolutely beautiful, and I was blown away by the size of the specimen. It fills the frame really well, and the iridescence of the wings means it looks amazing from many different angles.
Definitely the centre piece of a growing collection!

What a difference

This is my second club piece, my first was stunning! The eye catching Mountain Blue Swallowtail. My second is the somewhat subtle Madagascar leaf butterfly. If I’m honest at first I was a tad disappointed when I saw how dull and bland the butterfly looked in comparison to the first. However now i find being disappointed only with my first reaction. The Madagascar leaf is a natural beauty with the most detailed camouflage and a really understated beauty.

This would have never been my choice picking my own but that is the excitement of the club and I’m thankful for such a different specimen. I know know how diverse my collection will be!

Thank you once again and I’m looking forward to the next!

When I opened the box that this specimen came in, I was flabbergasted. It really is a Goliath. Its gorgeous black and white patterns coupled with its wings spread really make for a divine presence. I love it.

New Office is Gonna be Beautiful

Got this for my new office! Preparing to set this up for the meantime. Wow, what an amazing little guy. So crazy how old this guy is and how well it was preserved. 200 something dollars was the best price I've seen these go for too, so I was super excited to pick it up.
