The Great Mormon belongs to the Papilio family of butterflies. It's native to Southeast Asia. The larvae feed on citrus species, particularly pomelo (citrus grandis) and common lime (citrus aurantifolia) which are broadly cultivated across Asia.
Its wingspan reaches 12 - 14 centimetres (4.7 - 5.5 in).
