The Common Red Glider belongs to the Nymphalidae family of butterflies. The butterfly is found in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, the Republic of Congo, Gabon and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The habitat consists of forests.
Its wingspan reaches 5 - 6 centimetres (1.9 - 2.3 in).
