A beautiful Emperor Swallowtail butterfly in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.

The Emperor Swallowtail belongs to the Papilionidae family of butterflies. The butterfly is an amazing example of a swallowtail butterfly. It is found in Subsaharan Africa. The species was named by Oberthür in 1878

Its wingspan reaches 10–13 centimetres (3.9–5.1 in).
