Orb-Weaver in a handmade wooden frame mounted underside on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
The Orb-weaver or also known as araneids are members of the spider family Araneidae. They are well known for their spiral wheel-shaped webs. Araneids have eight similar eyes, hairy or spiny legs, and no striduLating organs.
