A stunning Female Madagascar Diadem in Box Frame Butterfly in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
This species is endemic to Madagascar, it was described in 1863 by William Chapman, which had been collected by J. Caldwell from Antananarivo in Madagascar. It now is one of the most popular butterflies among collectors.
Wingspan can reach 8-10cm.
