A Long Tooth Beetle in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and region names are printed underneath the specimen.

Macrodontia cervicornis is one of the largest beetles, with known specimens exceeding 17 cm in length. It is also known as the Sabertooth Longhorn beetle.

Sex: Male.

Distribution: Macrodontia cervicornis can be found in rain forests of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, the Guianas, and Brazil.
