A stunning cut Nautilus Ammonite fossil. This has been cut and polished to show the internal structure and preserved limestone and calcite. Nautilus Ammonites are not extinct unlike the other species of Ammonite fossils. Starting as very small sea creatures as they evolved and grew, so did the shell making these magnificent fossils.
