The Phasmatodea also know as Phasmida or Phasmatoptera is a genus of insects whos members are variously known as stick insects, stick-bugs, and leaf insects. The genus name is derived from the Ancient Greek Phasma meaning an apparition or phantom. The Pink Stick insects natural camouflage makes them much harder for predators to detect.
